An interesting map that folds into a hard cover book 19.5 x 11.5 cm. sold by the Daily Mail at the outbreak of hostilities in 1914 for 2 shillings. The colour map itself measures approx 85cm x 55cm. and is printed on a canvas material. The map of Europe shows the borders at the outbreak together with the various strengths of the protagonists in terms of manpower ships etc. A very interesting and scarce map. Wear to the spine but the map is in VGC.
