Canadian Expeditionary Force Sterling Silver brooch with very attractive enamel facing, maker marked. The 134th (48th Highlanders) Battalion, raised during the First World War. Based in Toronto, Ontario, the unit began recruiting in late 1915 in that city. After sailing to England in August 1916, the battalion was absorbed into the 12th Reserve Battalion on March 7, 1918. The 134th (48th Highlanders) Battalion, CEF had one Officer Commanding: Lieut-Col. A. A. Miller. The 134th were heavily engaged on the western front.

2nd Queens Own Rifles of Canada very attractive un-damaged brooch complete with sturdy fastener in base metal. The Queen's Own Rifles of Canada was formed on April 26, 1860. Originally the Regiment's name was the Second Battalion, Volunteer Militia Rifles of Canada. The cap badge still bears the number two as recognition of the unit's seniority. The 3rd Queens Own were sent to the Western front with many of the numbers from the 2nd Bat. serving under the 3rd. The regiment was heavily engaged in both world Wars and still exists. VGC

Innislilling Fusiliers WM brooch with blue enamel facing. A dainty brooch with some sort of inscrition on the rear fixing bar. Raised in 1689 the Inniskillings have seen service in the Peninsular Wars. At  Waterloo the Innislillings stood firm in their sqaures suffering 470 killed out of a strength of 700. Wellington was later state that the Innislillings saved the centre of his line. Reinforced during WW1 the Inniskilling's were heavily engaged and were to win 8 VC's Difficult to date it is more than likely of WW1 vintage. Polished to high points otherwise GC.

Glider Pilot Regt. pair of breast wings. Formed originally as the Glider Wing 11 SAS in 1941 became Glider Pilot Regt. The first and 2nd Glider Pilot Regt. were formed under the Army Air Corps in 1942. The wing was issued to Staff Sgts, 1st class and officer pilots. This wing was one of a number introduced prior to the wings with gold letter 'G' introduced in 1944. Very nice condition full size wings with paper backing.

Army Gymnastic Staff uniform badge in Br. 2 loops to reverse. This pattern follows the pre 1940 badge but without the crown seen on other badges. There is no evidence that the badge has ever supported a crown and so our best guess is that it was worn as a form of insignia and follows the WW1 pa
